But out of everything related to this wonderful occasion, only one thing stands out the most is the people i get to spend my time with.  It is holidays like these that you get enough time to bond with people, and get closer to each other, under the merry spirit of this holiday! And what better of a way to start a holiday!!

New Pic of Santa’s helper!!!

Here is a new pic – Santa’s helper is busy – I am staying in Mississauga all week, due to requests.

I have been a naughty girl all weekend!!! So Santa put me in the bedroom all weekend!!

If you have been naughty – Come over here and lay down, don’t kick while I pull down your underwear , don’t struggle while I kiss you or my mouth might slip like it did last time and you know what happened then…

And if I am naughty what will you do to me!????

Happy soon to be Thanksgiving!!!

I’d like to spend the next few days focusing on Thanksgiving. That’s right, Thanksgiving. Yes, I know that the official American holiday falls this Thursday So, yes, I know that I’m early, but I’d like to begin to offer some thoughts on Thanksgiving, even though we won’t be sitting down to a Turkey dinner for a few more days or some to nothing.

This will be my first year sitting down with some American and Canadian friends celebrating!

I think it’s great that the United States continues to set apart a day a year for giving thanks. And I think it’s doubly great that most of us still believe that Thanksgiving is a day for actually giving thanks – not just a time for feeling thankful while filling our faces with a Turkey dinner and watching football on TV.

But I am going to ask you not to forget the heart of Thanksgiving. In fact, I’m going to encourage you to let Thanksgiving be more than just a day. Why not take time during this today and next week to remember to be grateful. If your Thanksgiving Day is already full with family , then set aside some time on the day before or the day after, and to say “Thank you.” Better yet, do this for several minutes each day today and next. If you do, not only will you be doing the right thing. In fact, you might just discover that your overall happiness with life improves.

So let me invite you – yes, urge you – to take time in this season of Thanksgiving for real expression of gratitude.  You’ll be glad you did

Narcissistic Personality, we have all met at least one!!!!

The typical traits of a person who has a Narcissistic Personality Disorder often act in ways that defy all definition of normalcy. They regularly break the rules, tell lies, break promises, degrade, demean, exhibit unjust, aggressive behavior that is inappropriate, childish, without remorse and totally inhuman. On the outside appearance, they are friendly, charming, thoughtful, caring, helpful, and supportive.

When you meet these people they want you as a friend!!! But in reality they are saying these things to “kidnap” you into their lifestyle. They are looking for someone they can manipulate and criticize so they can feel good about themselves.

Life with a Narcissist is like a bag of tricks, and a box of chocolates. You never know what will morph out of thin air, or be unwrapped next.

They do not think anything is wrong with criticizing you because for them it makes them feel better. If they can bring you down then they can feel better about themselves. A tip – they will always do it behind your back!!!

These people are the conversational narcissists in your life who hog every conversation you have, leaving your head spinning.  Basically, talking to a conversational narcissist is like putting your head in a blender.

*Narcissistic people never shut up. They talk constantly. Because they need attention 24/7.

*Take advantage of others to get what they want.

*Have difficulty regulating emotions and behavior. Experience major problems dealing with stress and adapting to change.

*Pretending to be more important than they actually are.

*Claiming to be an “expert” at many things but seriously have never been involved in that subject matter.

*A narcissist is never sorry because he (or she) perceives himself as perfect. He/She can’t be wrong. He/She views themselves  as superior to everyone and, thus, always right.

*Feed off the week!!!

No, they never will change even for their next victim. They hunt victims. They are not even conscious of this, it is who they think everyone in the world is.

Friends if you have a friend/s like this –  please detach from them and you will get stronger and find some peace.

Take care, everyone, and get these people out of your life if you can.

Best of luck to everyone!!!!!

Why I have been unavailable to some!!!

At this time of year, it’s not uncommon to hear people talking about how the year has flown by.

“It’s been such a crazy year”.

“I can’t believe it’s almost Dec. already.”

“I’ve never been busier”.

I’m guilty of saying all of the above too but believe me when I say it’s not a badge of honor or something I’m bragging about. We’re all busy, sure, but there have been a few things going on behind the scenes here – mostly exciting things – that have perhaps contributed to these feelings for me this year, which I’d like to share with you today.

Also, to be clear, I’m definitely not complaining, I’m just trying to explain why there has been times over the past few weeks, I could not see some of you.

I committed to a spiritual retreat here in the city – a personal adventure. It was a small commitment of time that impacted my life dramatically. It’s a space in which I needed to shut out the noise and distractions and come face-to-face with myself.

The only thing I needed to connect with  = myself was me.

It’s a great guidance on my spiritual pursuit.”

Loves, I am back and I am feeling fantastic!!!!

Why I love this time of year!!!!

Christmas is my most favorite time of the year and this year,  I am taking the time to pause and reflect on just why I love Christmas.

The real reason I love this time of year is that everyone does their best to be nice.  The world just tends to get a little nicer.  People in restaurants and shops end their transactions with, “and have a Merry Christmas”. And the smiles are genuine.

Here’s a thought.  What if we practiced being nice to others all year-long?  What if people on  the subway gave their seat to the elderly, opened doors for others, smiled more, said the three magic words more often -Please, and Thank You.  I can just imagine how this “spirit of nice” would transform our days.  We could replace road rage with smiles and taking turns.

I hope we meet in 2017.  I look forward to interacting with you with my spirit of Christmas.  Maybe “nice” will catch on.  The world could certainly use it.

It is beginning to look a lot like Winter!!!

The weather is starting to feel a lot colder in the city and snow has started to arrive. (though a bit more would certainly be nice) I thought I would start to get into winter mode.

The feel of winter and excitement for the holiday season is in the air. Although many people, me included, grumble about the cold winter months, it really is a beautiful…

May the simple pleasures of winter warm your heart !!

We Remember!!!

window c

I have our soldiers in our hearts everyday, but on Nov. 11th we take some time to honor those who have served and continue to serve our country. On Remembrance Day, we remember all the lives that were sacrificed for our freedom. I am truly grateful for all our soldiers have done and continue to do for us.

November 11 is a day on which the poppy is proudly worn over our hearts. On this day, I invite all of you to fulfill their duty to remember and to pay tribute to our fellow citizens, who lost their lives.

Always & Forever!!!
