It may be the most wonderful time of the year, but the festive season can also prove to be a tad stressful, especially if you’re one of those shoppers who decides to brave the stores in search of your Christmas shopping. .
I personally dislike shopping in stores. I love online shopping.
Another major benefit of conducting all your Christmas shopping online is the luxury of shopping directly from your favourite chair, avoiding the stress of busy, cold December streets. Nowadays, almost anything you can think of gift-wise can be purchased online, from perfumes, clothing, games, DVDs, books and music down to more niche items.
I hire someone to decorate my tree. I do online shopping I do not wrap gifts – I buy pretty boxes… and get lots of cuddles. Life is great.💃
Some thoughts as we enter the holiday season…It is important to remember that not everyone is surrounded by large wonderful families. Some of us have problems during the holidays and some of us are overcome with great sadness when we remember the loved ones who are not with us.
Many people have no one to spend these times with and are besieged by loneliness. We all need caring, loving thoughts right now.💕
When people come together and give thanks for the blessing in their lives and eat a lot of food with their closest friends and family.
Good wishes for you this Thanksgiving! Good food that fills your table, Good health as you work hard, Good times with family and friends, May you get all the best delights in life. Happy Thanksgiving!
I know, It s only less then 5 weeks away still, with American Thanksgiving in between. I understand. But, for some reason, I’m still really excited for Christmas already!
Something about re-watching your favorite holiday movies for the hundredth time is so soothing A Christmas Story” has to be the funniest one for sure.
One of the other things that makes Christmas so wonderful is my tree.. Christmas trees fill the windows of the houses in your neighborhood and the streets are transformed into glittering highways with bright lights in the trees and colorful decorations to brighten those dark, winter nights.
Santa, also known as Jolly Saint Nick is REAL! Believing, or at least pretending to believe, is fun for everyone of all ages. There’s nothing more exciting than seeing someone young, whether it’s a little sibling, niece/nephew, or little cousin get excited for Santa to come and put presents under the tree.
Last but not least to me Christmas .is giving from my heart. Let us all open our hearts.💕
I love to sit and look at the lights on the tree in the evenings….so the more evenings I have to enjoy the lights the happier I am! I can sit and look at twinkling lights and just be filled with joy! It is my happy place for sure…
Whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, or something else, perhaps even a different God.the lesson here still applies to you, this lesson is about the spirit of giving and receiving.so whether you celebrate Christmas or not, celebrate with me this Christmas time and take this month’s lesson, or apply it to your festivities, whatever they may be.
We know that Christmas is a time for giving and receiving, a time to remember others less fortunate than ourselves, peace in the world, a time for families to end their quarrels and come together, a time to celebrate the birth of Christ. We know all these things, and we know that this also is the true spirit of Christmas.
There are many sad and lonely people out there, wondering where the true spirit of Christmas is.your best gift is to show them. A gift for them and a gift for you too. We all need to give that dollar to a good cause, to help those more needy than ourselves in any way we can, but it can be too easy to become so caught up in our lives, to write that check, to give monetarily, and to forget the true spirit of Christmas. Our best gift to others, and the best gift we can give to ourselves, is to pay attention, to listen and to give ourselves to others.even if it is only for a short amount of time. It is that time again, right now, the time of magic, of Santa, toys, trees, tinsel, elves and Rudolph, carols and turkey, my favorite time of year.a time for the true spirit of Christmas..a time to take time for others.
This Remembrance Day, allow yourself to feel gratitude for the peace and quality of life that we enjoy in Canada today. This is a time to appreciate those who have fought for us and remember the bravery and sacrifice that our freedom has cost.
Remembrance Day, let’s also remember that just because the war is over for veterans, their battle often continues. As a country, we must do whatever we can to help those veterans in need and provide the mental health support that will allow them to move on from their war and forward with their lives.
It’s the absolute least they deserve. Lest we forget.
When we wake up in the morning I need a big cup of steamy coffee.

We are fast approaching one of the most important days of the year. A day to remember and reflect. A day to appreciate the men and women who currently serve to protect our beautiful country!
Take the time that day to provide more than a moment of silence. Include several moments to remember the moments, the single moments of sacrifice, courage and pride that someone has put forth and notice that these single moments come together to allow us to enjoy each day we have.
May all beings be free from wars
May all beings find peace and the root of peace
May all beings be free from suffering.
Lest we forget.
